Lyon is reportedly in talks with Brazilian striker Ederson Fernandes over a €25 million transfer, according to reports from France's L'Equipe newspaper.

The 24-year-old has been linked with a move away from Santos since the beginning of the season, and has already scored six goals this campaign in just seven games.

If Lyon do manage to sign him, it would be a significant coup for the French club, who have struggled for form and consistency in recent seasons under head coach Bruno Genesio.

Fernandes has previously played for clubs such as Flamengo and Fluminense in his homeland, and he would provide competition for strikers such as Alexandre Lacazette and Anthony Martial at Stade de Gerland.

However, there is still much uncertainty surrounding the transfer, and it remains to be seen whether Lyon will ultimately succeed in landing their target.
