In the latest round of fixtures in the French top-flight, Paris Saint-Germain extended their lead at the top of the table and Marseille climbed back into third place.

PSG started the game strongly and took the lead early on through a stunning strike from Kylian Mbappe. The Argentine forward's effort was well placed and found the back of the net with ease. PSG continued to dominate throughout the first half and were unlucky not to score more goals.

Marseille, meanwhile, struggled to create any chances as they faced off against Monaco. However, they did manage to find the back of the net late on through a goal from Florian Thauvin. Despite this, Monaco still managed to hold onto their lead thanks to a strong defensive display.

As for the other matches, there were some upsets as Nice lost to Montpellier and Lens drew 1-1 with Reims. Meanwhile, Rennes beat Lyon 3-0 to move level on points with the leaders.

Overall, it has been another busy week in Ligue 1 with plenty of action and excitement on show. With only three games left before the end of the season, there is still time for some unexpected results to happen.
