Lens have secured their place at the summit of Ligue 1 with a 2-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain at Stade de France on Sunday.

The win moves Lens up to second, just two points behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain, who were held to a goalless draw by Lyon at the Parc des Princes.

Lens' victory was built on a solid defensive performance from the hosts, who kept PSG at bay for much of the game.

In the first half, Lens were able to create some good opportunities through their attacking players, but they failed to convert them into goals.

However, in the second half, Lens took control and created more chances, ultimately scoring twice through goals from Florian Thauvin and Maxence Domis.

Thauvin's goal came in the 58th minute, as he found space in the box and slotted home a shot that beat PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Domis added a late insurance goal in the 89th minute, as he finished off a fine team move after a good cross from Thauvin.

With this victory, Lens have secured their place at the summit of Ligue 1, and it looks like they will be challenging for the title all season long.

Paris Saint-Germain, on the other hand, have dropped to third place in the table, while Lyon remain in fourth position. However, both teams have games in hand, so the gap between them could narrow down in the coming weeks.
