Real Madrid has announced that they have extended the contract of midfielder Adama Traore until 2028, keeping him at the club for another four years.

The 24-year-old Frenchman has been with Real Madrid since joining from Rennes in 2019 and has made over 75 appearances for the club so far, scoring three goals and assisting five others.

Traore's contract was due to expire at the end of this season but the club has now agreed to keep him on until 2028, meaning he will be with the club until at least 2026.

The extension is seen as a boost for Real Madrid, who have struggled to find consistent form this season under new manager Carlo Ancelotti. Traore has been one of their most consistent performers, providing cover for key midfielders like Casemiro and Casemiro, and has also scored some important goals for the team.
